CSP Rail Transit Safety Department Successfully Completed the Security Work for Tianjin Metro on New Year's Eve in 2023

During the New Year's Day holiday, Tianjin held a number of large-scale activities such as the New Year's Eve Snowy Night at Jinwan Plaza, Terry Lin concert, and New Year's Eve light show, and the operation of the entire metro system was extended by 1.5h.

According to the municipal unified deployment, the Public Transportation Branch of Tianjin Municipal Public Security Bureau, and CCCC Railway Operations set up on-site headquarters at stations such as Jinwan Plaza, Heping Road and Yingkoudao of Tianjin Metro Line 3, respectively, to direct the traffic on the front line. According to the instructions and requirements of Party A and the public security authority, all the management personnel of the Tianjin Project Department of China Security & Protection Group Co., Ltd. (CSP) stopped take vacation days and reached the front line. At 2:00 p.m. on December 31, they began to implement the supervision over the key stations to be protected during the New Year's Day holiday within the scope of responsibility, and to organize various supports and inspections on the front line. Furthermore, according to the instructions and requirements of leaders at all levels, a total of more than 100 personnel at rest were assigned to support key stations such as Jinwan Plaza, Heping Road and Yingkoudao and to cooperate with the station areas in such tasks as passenger flow dispersion, diversion and security control on the platforms, halls, entrances and exits of the stations.

During the insurance period, the leaders of CSP visited the front line, inspected and guided the key stations supported under the jurisdiction of the Tianjin Project Department, and expressed concern for the front-line employees, bringing them the CSP's New Year's wishes. They also communicated with the leaders of CCCC Railway Operations on the spot. By the end of the operation at 2:00 a.m., the overall passenger flow on Tianjin Metro Line 3 crossed the mark of 550,000 person-times, the highest over the years. The security inspectors accurately identified more than 1,200 cases of fireworks and other prohibited articles, successfully completing the security task, which was highly recognized by Party A and the public security leaders at all levels and praised by the relevant departments.
